- 3/10 44 Pictures' newest project "Pairings", a webisodic venture thatÊhighlights the best of today's food, wine, and music, whichÊwe produced for GreenLight Media and American Express, is now up online! These two five-part episodesÊfeature platinum-selling musical artists Dave Matthews and John Legend, world renowned chefs John Besh and Tom Colicchio, and winemakers Genevieve Janssens and Susan Lueker.
- 12/09 44 Pictures shoots the second installment of "Pairings" at Craftsteak restaurant for an American Express sponsored evening of the world renowned cuisine of Tom Colicchio and the Grammy award winning music by singer/songwriterJohn Legend.
- 10/09 44 Pictures travels to Mondavi Vineyards in Napa valley to shoot "Pairings", a webisode for American Express featuring chef John Besh and musician Dave Matthews for a night of musical and culinary artistry.
- 7/09 44 Pictures travels to London to film Dave Matthews Band at the famed Brixton Academy. Two night stand filmed for eventual DVD release as well as use in the ESPN college football campaign in fall 09.
- 6/09 44 Pictures produces a four part special for Fuse. "Road to Big Whiskey" spans the band's career from humble roots to the success of its most recent album "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King."
- 6/09 44 Pictures returns to Bonnaroo for a third year, shooting the video on four stages and producing four television specials for Fuse and a year end DVD
- 11/08 44 Pictures produces PSA's for LIVE EARTH: INDIA, the concert for the environment that was to be held in Mumbai in December. We filmed spots with Salma Hayek, Kevin Bacon, Tommy Hilfiger and many others. Although the event was cancelled as a result of the tragic terrorist attacks, you can see some of the PSA's here.
- 9/08 Sam heads out to the Gorge in Washington state to shoot stills for the 2009 Dave Matthews Band calendar, marking a return to this gig for me after many years away. it was great to be out with the band again, although everyone misses Leroi Moore very much. You can see some of the shots here.
- Summer 08 44 Pictures returns to Bonnaroo. In addition to producing the video shooting on 4 of the festival's 6 stages, we produced the festival DVD (click here for the trailer) and 4 specials for FUSE.
- 04/08 44 Pictures produces a wide ranging video marketing campaign for the new My Morning Jacket album "Evil Urges." Project includes EPK, photography, long form online documentary and webisodic content.
- 03/08 44 Pictures produces new music video for Steve Winwood's single "Dirty City". Shot on location in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn.
- 02/08 44 Pictures travels to Gloucestershire, UK to film Steve Winwood in his home studio. Resulting documentary accompanies the release of his new album "9 Lives."
